Taking up 4,000 square feet with 11-foot ceilings, the Beaux Art condo was a considerable undertaking. They used the couple’s taste for clean lines, modern pieces, and mid-century style to inspire the Midwestern design. They used a mix of custom and retail furniture to create a balance of formal and informal spaces that function well for the family with two teens. Lagrange called on the assistance of art consultant Kate Lane Ferraro, who paired abstract art with the home’s simple furniture. For another Chicago high-rise renovation, Lagrange collaborated with kitchen designers Mick DeGiulio and Kathy Manzella to complete a French-inspired space.
